He studied Film and Television Cinematography at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava.
Internal doctoral studies - September 1, 2004 to September 25, 2007.
From 1983 to 1990 he was employed at the Slovak Film Production as a camera assistant and later worked as a second cameraman.
As a cameraman, he shot more than 300 film commercials , for which he received several awards for visual concepts of spots CAMERA of the Year awarded by the ASSOCIATION OF SLOVAK CAMERAMEN for the spots VUB, KCERO, Spiš original, Biela pani (NOBASIL) and also (Kooperatíva, T-Mobil, OMV, Orange KLINEC awards, awarded by KRASOM).
