Alfréd Benčič worked as an editor of feature and documentary films in Koliba's Slovak filmmaking until Koliba disintegrated and privatized after the revolution. The names of the Koliby privatizers are, in a sense, surprising and a symbol of the time that preceded the Gentle Revolution, but which also occurred after the Gentle Revolution of 1989.
Alfred Benchic's social position on this issue would be steadfast and infallible.
