Ludovít Labik Studio VFX and HD FTF VŠMU, Bratislava, Slovakia. He has been teaching film language at film schools in Slovakia for 36 years and at film schools in the Czech Republic for 14 years. Focuses on storytelling, visual effects and game design. Initiator of new study programs Visual Effects (2011) and Game Design (2020) at FTF VŠMU Bratislava, SR. Leader of the TOP TEAM VFX 2015 project, Slovakia, member of the TEMPUS 2014 International European Grant project, (7 universities mainly from the Balkans), member of the GLOBAL RIVERS PROJECT 2008 project (7 universities from all over the world), Organization of 16 years FILM SUMMER SCHOOL and 8 years of workshops/ of WORKSHOP VFX conferences. Filipe Costa Luz Department of Film and Media Arts, Lusófona, Portugal. He coordinates Videogames BC and is the vice-chair of Communication Design BC at the University of Lusófona. He lectures on digital post-production for film, television, games and animation and also engages in research activities in communication science, design and art projects. Silvester Buček University MUNI, Brno, Czech Republic, University CM, Trnava, Slovakia, FTF VSMU Bratislava, Slovakia. He specializes in the history of game design, game ontology and semantics of game expressive means. In addition, he is dedicated to the popularization of games as an educational tool through the association Vľačatá.sk. He is also the author of several educational games.
Daniel Kazankov Film director (27), Slovakia. He is a graduate of the Film and Television Faculty of the University of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where he received a master's degree in film directing. During his studies, Erasmus completed an internship at the European Theater and Film Institute in Brussels as an assistant director and a member of the script team. The main content of the internship was the verbatim technique. Verbatim theater is a form of documentary theater that is based on the spoken words of real people. In 2021, he will continue his studies as a student of the recently introduced game design department at the University of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He is currently focused on developing the psychedelic 2D co-op platformer Lost in Self, which should educate players about the negative effects and risks of unknown drug use.
Ersin Ertan Ing. PhD. Candidate, UTB Zlín University, Czech Republic, Home country: Turkey Ersin Ertan was born in 1984 in Turkey. He completed his bachelor's studies in the field of graphic design. He currently has a master's degree in interior design in Turkey and will soon receive a Ph.D. degree in animation at Tomáš Bata University in the Czech Republic with a doctoral thesis based on the art of musical visualization. In addition, during his master's studies in 2015-16, he was in Denmark, Germany and Slovakia as an exchange student in the fields of communication and video games. For more than ten years, he worked as a computer graphics instructor with the title of Autodesk Certified Instructor in authorized Autodesk and Adobe training centers in Turkey. In 2017, he was accepted to Tomáš Bata University and during his research he also lectured on animation, visual effects, music visualization, video game art design and figure drawing.
Carlos Almeida Irmã Lúcia VFX / University of Lusófona, Portugal. Teacher in the title of digital animation at the Universidade Lusófona with a specialized focus on 3D modeling, rigging and animation using the creative processes of 3D animation and also combining them with motion capture productivity processes. He is one of the founders of IrmaLucia Visual Effects, a company based in Lisbon with a strong post-production portfolio in film, television and advertising. http://www.irmalucia.com/
João Miguel Real EasyLab / University of Lusófona, Portugal. He studied art (illustration and animation) and became a professional. Over the years, he collaborated with several animation studios and producers such as 3Dcities, Mylko, Bang Bang Animation and Showoff. For the last four years, he was responsible for the technological area of the animation studio Sardinha em Lata. He was part of the production teams of four short animated films awarded at the national and international level. He is also a professor of animation at Universidade Lusófona. He currently works in the production company Take It Easy as an animation director and composer of short animated films in 3D format, Stopmotion, traditional and digital animation.
Milan Kolar Technical director and VFX supervisor with 10 years of production experience. Graduated from the Bachelor of Computer Animation course at the University of Glamorgan in England with Honours, and a Master of Arts in Digital Effects from Bournemouth University with Honours. He started out in the industry as a CG generalist on children's TV shows while graduating. He stayed in the UK for 6 years in several studios ranging in size from 10 to 100 people where he worked as a character animator, rigger, igniter, lighting technical director, FX technical director and pipe line technical director.
