SELF-PORTRAIT - NEXT STAGE
The painting expresses a portrait of the author and his life from a long-term perspective divided into stages. We understand the three separate rooms as a time period in the author's life and the numbers indicating their order mean that the author is already experiencing several parts of his life. In the first room on the right we see the high school logo and a brain pictogram with the inscription "storage". This room is lit up, which means that the author has already completed this stage and has absorbed enough information to be able to move on. In the middle room, i.e. the author's life at that time, there are elements expressing the author's current state, attitude and interests. The levitating figure signifies relaxation as a state of life and immersion in the author's thoughts. On the walls there is the logo of the visual effects studio and the film and television faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts, from which lines emanate expressing streams of information that flow into the hologram indicating the source from which all experiences, experiences, information and thoughts come.
The source is created as a hologram of a turbine in which a cube is assembled, the incoming parts fit together like a Lego set. The source sends pulses to the author and thus expresses the author's interests and acceptance of experiences and experiences at a certain stage of life. The fact that we are in the epoch number 8 means that the previous parts of life have been successfully completed and the author is satisfied with his past. It also means a lust for ambition and hard work because the author tries to exhaust every source of experience, information, experiences and ideas from each stage and does not want to stop but to continue discovering new things and opportunities. More currents directed to the source mean versatility.
The author would like to educate himself and learn more about various fields of study and life, but despite this, these areas come from one point of interest. It can be said that the work is temporary because it expresses a precisely defined current period. In the work, the author's character progresses from right to left, and despite the violation of the reading direction, this feature has significance => after overcoming all stages of life, the author remembers his life as if reading a book and gradually remembers from left to right, from the most recent memories to the oldest ones.
The book of life ends at stage 1.
