3rd year of B.Sc.
The bachelor's project Forest is the first attempt at FTF to create animation using motion capture technology.
This is the process of technically transferring the actor's movement into the movement of an animated character. Worldwide, this technology is still in development, has various technological and qualitative solutions and also different levels in terms of financial expression. In our case, a unique (cheap) technology was used, developed by a graduate of VFX at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, Michal Šabík, a current doctoral student of AVFX at the Faculty of Fine Arts. The project was implemented in the conditions of his study computers and under the supervision of a teacher of the Faculty of Fine Arts and a prominent expert in 3D, Mgr. art. Mariano Villaris, a doctoral student at the Faculty of Fine Arts.
