Zól struggles with life in Vespolod, a city that exists to produce nutritional ice. One day, he manages to tune in to a forbidden podcast on the radio, in which he learns about life outside his world. About nature, mountains, flowers, the sea. About beauties he has never seen. He asks other residents about them, but no one shows any interest. He finds solace in the new city director, a boy who is both young and old. Of all the people Zól has talked to, only he has shown any interest in the beauty of the world around him. But the director is made to rule the city of Vespolod for only one year. Then he dies and is replaced by a new one. That is why Zól decides to draw him the beauty he heard about in the podcast by the end of the year.
Using a timeless Neo-Noir animated world, a collage of our own history of oppression, dictatorships and consumerism, the viewer is transported into the life of Zól and his struggles with a conservative society of fear of the new or alcoholism. The world is built so that through the medium of animation and film language its essence is fully revealed. Buildings tower over small people. The landscape is empty and cold, like life in it. Zól works like the sounds of the machines around him. So that we feel that he himself becomes a machine. Due to the universality of the aforementioned problems, the project is dedicated to a wide multicultural environment.
